Blockchain Development: Querying with Open APIs Course

Ecommerce Empire Academy

In this blockchain development course, you will learn how to query on the blockchain and build open APIs. This course will teach you how to build your own distributed applications using The Graph. It's like Lego blocks for composing your own protocols. You'll learn how to build your own APIs that query Ethereum, IPFS, and other data sources.

Error : Failed to fetch ABI from Etherscan: ABI not found, try loading it from a local file , I think is the sol file for contact ABI , what do you think about this ?

  1. Updating the *ts files without source code you are using in the video makes the course hard to follow. There are no links the repo with any source code.

Hello. Can someone explain in simple terms what Blockchain Development means? I’m unfamiliar with the topic. For context, I am a novice programmer, I’m good with the basics of C and quite decent in Python. I have a decebt grasp of basic data structures and algorithms. Thanks.

good thing I’m here, I’m lost myself, we have to start from the basics, what is Blockchain development. just that I don’t know where to begin from too like you.

If you’re familiar with different data structures you should be familiar with linked lists. Now picture a blockchain like a giant linked list made of objects with different ID’s. Every of these objects has functions for e.g. transferring money as well as data from different transactions that have taken place in the past. Now think about making it work as fast as possible on as few nodes as possible and implementing different things like NFT’s, Tokens etc.. That’s blockchain development

  3. I’m dying to see how this “world without platforms and big tech companies” will go on on creating hardware, software, datacenters, fiber optic lines, satellite networks. how it will be all maintained

No one said they’ll disappear, there are still web 1.0 pages being used daily… Percent of the whole tech companies wealth might just be distributed among web 3.0 companies

  4. When running the graphCLI install npm code, it errors out with 4058 error “unknown git error”. Any idea how to resolve this?

  5. Could you have done the correct market address from the start? Or did you have to use the Token one to initialize? Confused on why that was necessary, as the contract address you change to is the one on the Etherscan with the activity of transfers/holders/etc.

    1. once’s had doub trading with alice marcella but after seeing her POT (Proof of Trades) I made good profit last week I hope to make more

    2. This is an opportunity for newbies to capitalize on, It’s quite a shame people Can’t see this, trading is everything right now.

    3. best feeling is knowing you’re going to make a gain today and tomorrow, and you’re 100% sure, alice marcella, you’re a Genius

I am from bangladesh And I learned lot from your tutorials..Thanks a lot😍😍😍😍

  7. Thank you Andrew kubo , this is far best tutorial I came across about Graphs
would appreciate if you can make a tutorial about wvyern protocol too.

  8. It seems like those developer resources are no longer available from Foundation App, and the contract address did not generate the same code as it did for Ania, so I am unable to follow along. :/!
